Limited New Year access to West Looe Hill

It is understood that the contractors will keep the disruption to a minimum but there will be periods when access to the hill from the quayside will be closed.

Local shopkeepers are naturally concerned but there have been constructive discussions with S.W.Water who are sympathetic to those concerns.

As inconvenient as the work may be, the tank is a necessary construction to reduce the risk of flooding from any sewage overflow. It is understood that up to eleven parking spaces on the quay side will also be unavailable.

However, it will be “business as usual” for the shops and businesses in Princes Square and beyond and they look forward to customers’ continued support during a difficult time.
